Ford Family

Visiting from Richmond.

Poppy was very excited to come fishing and really wanted to catch a fish. At almost 4 years old, she was able to handle the rod quite well and learned some techniques. After throwing some bait where her hook landed, she got a bite after about 20 minutes. Her fish was HUGE and she was very impressed with her first ever fish! Watching it being killed, cut and filleted was a great learning experience and then eating it was a pleasure. What a fantastic day out in the sun at Anatoki Salmon!

Murray Family

Visiting from Rangiora.

Our day at Anatoki salmon farm was the highlight of our family holiday. The whole family had a fish at the pristine farm catching three lovely salmon. We smoked them all, eating one for our lunch accompanied by a nice glass of wine. It really made our holiday, thanks for the experience!

van der Zon Family

We had a wonderful day at Anatoki farm in February this year. We started with a nice cup of coffee and tea served by Gerda. Then we had a nice walk along basins with salmon of different sizes and the fishing pond to the river at the back of the farm. Of course there was the fishing.

Marga did nice catch which we had smoked by Jan. I am not much of a fish eater, but this salmon had such magnificent flavour I almost ate my fingers with it. It is a pity that we live at the other side of the globe otherwise we would certainly be regular visitors of the farm.

The scenery as we drove in from Nelson was spectacular.
The salmon farm is also in a pristine setting! The fish we caught was smoked to perfection. My wife wants to move to Tekaka just to be near Anatoki Salmon!
It was a highlight of our NZ adventure.
